A female Rodian engineer with snout and antennae works diligently beneath the belly of a starship, her blue jumpsuit smeared with grease, tools scattered around her as she adjusts the ship's hyperdrive with precision. Her dark green skin glistens with sweat under the glow of the overhead work lights, and her black eyes focus intently on the sparking wires she’s carefully connecting. The hangar around her is filled with the sounds of other ships being repaired, the hum of machinery, and the clatter of tools echoing in the wide space. Her hands move with practiced speed, a hydrospanner in one, while her other hand stabilizes the component she’s repairing. The scent of engine fuel and scorched metal lingers in the air, mixing with the faint ozone smell of electrical circuits. Behind her, the towering bulk of the starship looms, its hull gleaming under the hangar lights, ready for its next mission. Other mechanics move about in the background, but the Rodian’s focus never wavers from her task. Her antennae twitch in concentration, her mind running through calculations and checks as she works to ensure the ship will fly faster than ever before.
