A close-up from ground level captures a woman peeking around the edge of a metal dumpster, her breath visible in the cold night air. Her eyes are locked in fear. The man she’s hiding from is heavily blurred, standing backlit at the end of the alley—only his silhouette visible, distorted by alley mist. A single lightbulb above buzzes faintly, casting harsh shadows across the brick walls.
