ARackham illustration featuring a young woman on a horse, accompanied by an older man and what appears to be the wind personified. The scene is rendered with an emphasis on fine line work, delicate washes of color, and a fantastical atmosphere. In the center of the composition, the young woman sits astride a white horse with a red ribbon in its mane. She wears a simple white tunic, a green corset, and a long, pale green skirt. Her blonde hair is partially up swept, and she looks off to the side with a concerned expression. She's facing left. The horse has a wild, animated expression, with flared nostrils and a slightly open mouth. Beside and slightly behind her stands an old man with a long, white beard and a conical hat. Dressed in a long, cream-colored robe or cloak, he holds a crooked staff in his right hand and wears a strand of beads around his neck. The lines on his face show a weathered character. Loosely draped or standing on the right side of the man is the wind. Its form is suggested by swirls of flowing, translucent drapery that seem to emanate from the old man's figure. The wind is a swirl of white. The environment is a blend of woodland and coastal elements. Bare trees with intricate, spidery branches reach into a pale blue sky, suggesting a rocky cliff in the background on the left side of the scene. At the bottom of the image, stylized waves curl and crash, indicating the proximity to the sea. The ground is covered with dense, stylized foliage that adds to the magical ambiance of the scene. The entire image has a dreamlike quality, typical of fairytale and folklore illustrations..<lora:ARackham1-000006:1>
