Art by Jeffrey Catherine Jones. A digital painting of a profile view of a woman with an afro hairstyle, depicted in a serene and dreamlike quality. the woman appears to be in her mid-twenties, with short, curly black hair that is styled in a way that frames her face. she is facing the viewer, with her profile visible from the side, and her eyes are closed, giving a sense of calmness and serenity. the background is a deep, starry night sky with a mix of deep blues and purples, creating a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere. in the middle of the image, a small, translucent figure is floating in the air, adding a touch of whimsy to the scene. the figure is surrounded by a soft, ethereal glow, with a few stars twinkling in the background, adding to the sense of depth and dimensionality. the style is reminiscent of realistic oil painting, with soft, painterly textures and a focus on texture and depth. the overall effect is one of dreamy, surrealism, with the woman's profile being the central focus of the painting.
