The image is a black and white infrared photograph of a cougar in a forest setting. The cougar is lying on its belly on the forest floor, positioned slightly off-center to the right. Its body is muscular and its fur is visible as a dark silhouette against the lighter ground. The cougar's eyes glow bright white due to the infrared camera technology, giving it an eerie, otherworldly appearance.
