An early 2010s snapshot photo captured with a phone and uploaded to Facebook, showing a surreal and unsettling scene reflected in a car’s rearview mirror. The mirror reveals a humanoid figure with an amphibian-like head, dressed in a crisp police uniform and wearing a neatly tilted police hat. Its glossy, wet skin glimmers faintly under dim streetlights, with a mottled green and brown texture resembling a toad’s. The figure holds a strange object in its left hand—a fly donut. The donut is covered in tiny, glistening flies that crawl and buzz around it, creating a grotesque yet oddly comedic juxtaposition. The amphibian’s large, black, reflective eyes fixate forward with a lifeless intensity, while its webbed fingers clutch the donut delicately. The hat's polished black brim catches faint light, and the police badge on its uniform shines faintly, completing the bizarre fusion of human authority and alien surrealism. The scene outside the mirror is dimly lit and grainy, with a blurry suggestion of a quiet street and distant shadows. The rearview mirror is smudged and slightly off-center, enhancing the candid, unpolished feel of the image. The car’s interior frames the mirror, with hints of the dashboard and steering wheel visible at the edges. The photo’s composition is raw, featuring visible noise, slight motion blur, and an uneven vignette, embodying the aesthetics of an amateur snapshot. The mood is eerie yet absurd, as though someone captured an unexplainable moment of bizarre reality with no explanation or context
