a painting in edrepkastyle, The scene depicts a terrifying, evil wizard emerging from a swirling, purple vortex that dominates the background. The vortex is rendered in a range of deep, haunting purples and blacks, with swirling, chaotic patterns that enhance the sense of malevolent energy. The wizard, with exaggerated features, has a gnarled, skeletal face and a long, flowing robe that appears to ripple and blend with the vortex's tumultuous colors. His eyes glow with a sinister, otherworldly light, and his outstretched hand reaches directly towards the viewer, adding a sense of immediacy and menace. The painting should be soft yet highly detailed, capturing the textures of the wizard's tattered garments and the ethereal, swirling mist of the vortex. The overall composition should evoke a chilling and darkly magical atmosphere, with a blend of vivid colors and intricate details that draw the viewer into the nightmarish scene.
