On a windswept plateau with a panoramic view of jagged mountains, a person in a black DS9 uniform with red collar and grey shoulders and a single red strip at cuffs is hiding behind a large boulder. The rock is smooth and weathered, standing as a solitary sentinel against the endless sky. The character crouches low, their form partially obscured by the rock as they scan the horizon for any sign of enemy movement. A cold wind whips across the plateau, tugging at the edges of their uniform and carrying with it the faint sound of distant footsteps. The character’s breath is visible in the crisp air, but they remain perfectly still, their senses on high alert. The boulder offers solid cover, but the open terrain means they must be extra vigilant to avoid detection. Behind the rock, the character adjusts their position slightly, keeping a watchful eye on the distant figures moving through the valley below. The vast, empty landscape adds to the tension, making their solitary hiding place feel even more precarious.
