midnightfable, A small child puppet in a blue wool coat offers a wooden key with both hands to a giant seated beyond a stone arch. Only the giant’s broad sculpted face and one open hand are visible, gentle but unfamiliar. Layered painted masonry and thick moss frame the encounter. Late afternoon light crosses the threshold, warm ivory against slate blue. Wide shot at the child’s height, the key and both gazes in focus.
