vtxcosymarkers, A sea otter floats on its back in dark teal water, using its belly as a rescue raft for a furious little cactus in a cracked flowerpot. The cactus has two arms raised in apparent outrage, while the otter watches it with a bewildered expression and keeps a safe distance from the spines. A small red life ring is improbably wedged around the terracotta pot. Frame them from slightly above, the rounded otter silhouette and sharp cactus silhouette clearly separated by reflected sky. Gentle swell forms concentric curves around this unlikely pair. A richly colored children's-book oil painting, with wet fur, chalky terracotta and subtle peach sunlight warming the cactus tips.
