vtxcosymarkers, A lone hiker in a red jacket stands before a vast snow-covered mountain split by an enormous brass zipper. The zipper is partly open, revealing a dark green spring forest inside the white peak. One giant metal pull rests at the hiker's height, worn smooth as if many travelers have used it before. Frame the opening as a powerful vertical shape from the small person to the summit, with ordinary rock, ice and drifting snow on either side. Warm sunlight filters outward through the hidden trees and touches the hiker's gloves. A richly detailed matte oil painting, cold mineral blues, aged brass and concentrated living green, built around one unmistakable impossible mechanism.
