A close medium portrait of ashby7 woman in her sheriff's uniform, a sergeant in her early thirties, seated at a cluttered wooden booking desk in a county sheriff's station, leaning back in a worn leather chair with a pen held loosely in one black-gloved hand and a half-filled report form in front of her. She has just glanced up from the paperwork at the camera with a smug, closed-mouth smirk and one eyebrow slightly raised. Her tan uniform shirt with azure trim and tie, gold star badge, brass nameplate and sergeant chevrons are crisp and pressed; her long black locs are gathered at the nape. Behind her, softly blurred, steel filing cabinets, a corkboard of wanted notices and a frosted glass office door. A brass banker's lamp on the desk throws warm tungsten light up across her face from the left, mixing with cool fluorescent ceiling light from above. Eye-level framing from across the desk, 50 mm lens, shallow depth of field, warm amber and tan palette.
