A lively flash photograph of ashby7 woman in a green wrap dress, a woman in her early thirties, dancing at an evening garden wedding reception, mid-spin with one arm raised and a wide open laugh, the skirt of her forest-green wrap dress flaring out around her knees. Her small gold earrings glint and her long black locs swing out in a blurred arc. Around her on a wooden dance floor, women guests in pastel dresses clap and dance, softly out of focus. Overhead, strands of warm globe string lights zigzag between old trees against a deep blue night sky, and a white marquee tent glows in the background. An on-camera flash freezes her in sharp detail and lights her face and dress brightly, while the string lights behind her stay warm and slightly dragged from a slow shutter. Chest-up to knees, eye-level, 28 mm lens, festive party snapshot feel, warm amber and green palette.
