dutchtilt, the picture is tilted slightly counter-clockwise, about fifteen degrees, so the horizon runs from the lower left up to the upper right and the verticals lean to the left, a photograph of a long hospital corridor at night, seen at eye level from close to the right wall, the corridor running away toward the left, the right wall's doors and steel handrail large in the foreground, pale green walls, closed doors with small square windows down both sides, a steel handrail along each wall, a straight line of dark ceiling panels with one fluorescent tube halfway down flickering cold blue-white, and at the far end against a dark window a tall thin adult figure in a pale hospital gown, arms at its sides, face in shadow, one long strip of light on the polished floor.
