dutchtilt, the picture is tilted strongly counter-clockwise, about twenty-five degrees, so the horizon runs from the lower left up to the upper right and the verticals lean to the left, a photograph of a wide concrete city plaza on a bright afternoon, a long granite ledge, a steel handrail down a flight of steps, glass towers behind with straight window grids, the lens low near the paving so the plaza edge sits low in the frame. A Filipino man of 26 in a white t-shirt, black jeans and a backwards cap is mid-ollie high above the ledge, the board flat under his feet, both arms flung wide, his open hands clear against the blue sky, crisp sunlight.
