A desolate nightmare illustration of a gaunt scholar with sunken eyes and a threadbare coat standing in an endless library whose black shelves tilt like cliff faces into darkness, a single white fluorescent strip flickering overhead and lighting scattered loose pages on the floor, one book spine in the far shelves dripping something dark, a tilted dutch angle shot from floor level looking up at him. Near black, cold white highlights and faint dried blood red, vertigo and suffocating silence.
