A cartoon illustration. A first-person view from a passenger seat inside a speeding train compartment, looking at the open window. Aya Shameimaru, a girl with short black hair, red eyes and a small red hexagonal hat with white pom-poms, is climbing in through the window from outside, one tall wooden sandal hooked over the sill and her black crow wings flapping wildly in the wind, while she holds a big old camera right up to the viewer's face with a huge toothy grin and one eye squeezed shut. She has stolen a conductor's outfit: a navy peaked cap pulled crooked over her hat, a navy jacket with gold buttons over a white blouse, a ticket puncher on a string and a black skirt. Her hair and a dozen loose newspaper pages whip around her. On the fold-down table in the foreground are a spilled cup of tea and a half-eaten bento box. Outside, blurred green rice fields, telephone poles and distant mountains rush by. There is only one figure in the scene. Cowboy shot, bright morning light through the window.
