Painterly anime film still: Frieren, small elf with long pointed ears, silver-white twin tails, calm green eyes, white gold-trimmed capelet, striped shirt, white tunic dress, and Hymmerion, young man with short light-blue hair, cream cloak, blue tunic with white frog closures, about a head taller than her, sit on a hill under a meteor shower. She reaches his chin. Her red drop earrings glint in the starlight, his straight sword lies across his knees, and fireflies rise from the grass around them as both look up in silence. Countless shooting stars, glowing grass, distant village lights, deep blue sky, quiet and nostalgic mood.
