DRKM4GE style, porcelain white skin, kokoya_style, illustration of. A beautiful young woman in a close portrait, her face and bare shoulders filling most of the frame, seen straight on from a little below eye level. Her skin is painted as a white sugar skull: black rings around the eyes, a tiny black heart on the nose, stitched lines across the lips, orange marigolds and pink roses drawn over her forehead and cheeks, and three clear rhinestone tears running down from one eye. Dark curls fall around her face under a crown of marigolds, roses and small white blossoms, with a few petals caught in her hair. She looks calmly at the viewer with a faint, knowing smile. Around her, dozens of candles of different heights burn on a low shelf and on the floor, and their flames throw a warm amber glow across her cheek and the gems, while the background falls away into deep brown-black shadow with a few soft gold sparks. The palette is porcelain white, marigold orange, rose pink and charcoal black. The picture has thick, glowing impasto brushwork with a loose, visible brush, flame light that seems to shine out of the paint itself, and a sharp finish on the rhinestones, petals and curls. The mood is festive, tender and a little eerie, a Day of the Dead night.
