A 24-year-old woman sorceress with wild black curly hair, in a simple long blue linen dress, barefoot, stands on the grassy top of a sea cliff at sunrise, laughing, arms flung wide. The wind blows her hair and dress to one side. Small golden motes of light rise from her open palms. Behind her is a ruined round stone tower, gulls circle overhead, and the sea lies far below in haze. Lord of the Rings book illustration, pencil and watercolour, soft graphite lines, muted moss green, slate grey, heather and ochre washes, realistic proportions, highly detailed, epic.
