vtxterrelagune, A red-clay fox sleeps curled into a compact spiral among low ochre grasses, its pale-tipped tail wrapping around its muzzle. The fox fills the lower-left portion of the composition, while a broad petrol-teal field opens above and to the right. Every part of the image is composed of fine colored sand grains, including the fox, its fur markings, the grasses and the background. Fur direction comes from small irregular mixtures of clay, ochre, ivory and ink grains; precise grain boundaries define the closed eye, nose and ears. Use the Terre et lagune palette throughout. Soft side light reveals dry matte granules. The depicted roundness is built from color transitions, with slight localized sand thickness only where the tail overlaps the flank.
