A young woman street racer leans back against the hood of a battered vintage sports car at an empty gas station at night, arms crossed, chin raised, staring straight at the viewer with a small dangerous smile. She wears a scuffed red racing jacket with faded patches, fingerless gloves and a messy dark bob, a dirty bandage across her knuckles. Rain falls in thin streaks, the wet concrete mirrors everything, and behind her the station's canopy lights hum over two old pumps. She fills the center of the frame from the knees up, the car's long hood angling toward the viewer. Lush painted cover-art textures, rich brushwork and fine grain. Deep teal and black night, wet pink reflections, one hot red accent in her jacket. Harsh white canopy light from above carves her face and shoulders.
