The wrists enter from the lower corners; the palms make a shallow continuous hollow. Arrange the seeds asymmetrically, their thin paired wings crossing the palm lines without becoming a decorative pattern. Use luminous lime and emerald across the seed wings, warm coral along the fingers and deep violet in the creases between the hands. Leave much of the surrounding surface pale and unoccupied. The earth and the shadows beneath the fingers form the strongest dark anchors. Show the difference between papery wings, soil and worn skin through distinct pressures and edges. A modest subject becomes monumental through the close framing, broad shapes and careful contact points.
