illustration artwork a dark, intense and haunting close up portrait. A robotic ronin's face fills the frame, the left half a weathered human face with a deep scar over a tired, narrow eye and the right half a cracked steel faceplate with a glowing red mechanical eye and exposed wires running along the jaw. Rain runs down both halves in thin streaks, a worn cloth headband is tied across the forehead and a tattered black collar is visible at the bottom of the frame. Thin lines of dark red fluid leak from the seam where flesh meets metal, and small sparks drift in the air. The background is almost completely black, with a distant, blurred orange glow of a burning city and a narrow, cold blue light from the left that catches the metal. Tight, centered composition, strong contrast and sharp texture. The palette is black, grey, bone white, crimson and a touch of cold blue, with a silent, lonely atmosphere.
