realism, Polaroid SX-70 instant photograph, morning window light, soft focus, creamy faded colours, warm cast, vignetting, chemical edge marks, white instant frame border, scanned print, high resolution. A beautiful Hungarian woman of thirty-one sits on a kitchen counter and poses holding a mug against her chest, head tilted against the cupboard, eyes on the lens with a sleepy smile. She has a heart-shaped face, wide-set green eyes under a deep crease, softly arched brows, a narrow nose with an upturned tip and full lips, her chestnut hair in a messy bun with loose strands at the temples. Morning light from the window beside her washes across her face and the shoulder of her oversized striped shirt, her skin showing faint freckles and soft texture. The instant film turns everything soft and creamy: the whites warm, the greens faded toward teal, the shadows milky, the edges vignetted with faint chemical streaks along the border. Behind her are a kettle, a wall of patterned tiles, a jar of wooden spoons and a dish rack. Focus is soft and falls slightly off her eyes, the frame tipped to one side. Lazy, warm, morning.
