A fallen knight kneeling in a muddy field after battle, both hands resting on the pommel of a planted greatsword, head bowed under a dented helm with a split visor. His plate armor is scarred and streaked with dried blood and rust, and a torn crimson surcoat hangs in shreds from his waist. Broken lances and snapped banner poles lean across the empty field behind him, with black crows gathered on the splintered shafts and a low red sun sinking behind drifting smoke. Cold grey mud, oxidized steel and deep red palette, with a faint rim light along the helm. Grim dark fantasy illustration, heavy metal and cloth texture, solemn mood, vertical composition.
