A gaunt, elongated creature with too many joints in its limbs, crouched among the roots of a dead apple orchard at dusk. Its skin is pale and translucent like wet paper, stretched over visible ribs, and its face is a smooth, featureless oval with a thin vertical slit for a mouth. Thick fog crawls along the ground, rotting fruit litters the soil, and a single lantern glows faint orange in the distance. Cinematic horror photography, desaturated palette, shallow depth of field, 35mm film grain.
