a dark, roughly textured, surrealist painting in the style of remedios varo. asymmetrical, vertical composition. The composition depicts a partly interior scene dominated by flowing, curving, irregular architectural elements, reminiscent of Catalan architect antoni gaudi. the walls to either side of him rise sharply and vertically, winding and branching into splits and side halls, suggesting a maze-like layout. the walls are geological, divided into wavy, flowing layers of tan and brown and reddish brown, reminiscent of sandstones or metamorphic rocks. there is no ceiling, revealing a moody, cloudy, dark red sky. along the top of the walls are arched niches with bust statues inside. The ground plane is covered in geometric stonework. central in the composition, walking toward the viewer menacingly in a straight-on view, is Guts from Berserk in his classic black Berserker armor with his huge, dark grey Dragonslayer sword on his back. he reaches back over his shoulder to grasp the greatsword's hilt. a long tattered black cloak billows behind him. he has one eye closed, a serious expression on his face. short spiky black hair.
