aiwl, medium shot, eye level, background sharp. Two characters are in frame: a larger, older male figure on the left, crouching, holding a cane in his left hand and a cigar in his right hand; a smaller, younger male figure on the right, partially buried in sand, holding a hammer in his right hand and pointing upward with his left hand. The larger figure wears a navy wool coat, a green vest, a light blue bow tie, and a black top hat. The smaller figure wears a light blue shirt and a white cap. The setting is a sandy beach with scattered seashells and a purple starfish visible in the sand. The background shows a pale green sky with white clouds and distant landforms. It is daytime, exterior.
