An energetic and joyful oil painting of a messy-haired girl playing roughly or hugging a massive spotted hyena. The hyena has its jaws wide open, showing teeth and gums, mirroring the girl's wide, laughing grin. She wears worn-out blue denim dungarees. The background is a plain sandy beige or off-white, suggesting bright daylight. Dynamic composition, rough painterly texture.
