An open, colonnaded pavilion with a sweeping, fan-shaped roof that echoes a peacock's display. It is built from iridescent cobalt-blue tiles and verdigris copper. Crown: The roof itself is the crown—a massive, layered fan of "feathers" made from overlapping enameled scales in teal, emerald, and gold, each with a central "eye" of polished obsidian that reflects light like a mirror. Entrance: A grand, triple-arched portico with slender, fluted columns of lapis lazuli. The arches are filled with intricate, geometric latticework in bronze. Draped Elements: Long, luxurious swags of velvet in deep peacock-green and royal purple, trimmed with heavy gold bullion fringe, draped between the columns. Setting: The pavilion sits on a raised platform of white marble, surrounded by a moat of liquid mercury that reflects the entire structure. Giant, feather-like ferns in silver and chartreuse frame the scene, and the cavern ceiling is a mosaic of tiny, twinkling blue and green glass chips
