Verso stands in the dim glow of a flickering oil lamp, wearing his expedition uniform. His hollow eyes, sunken and rimmed with exhaustion, stare blankly into the distance, as if gazing into an abyss that has long since gazing back, while a single tear cuts a path through his cheek. The air around him is thick with the scent of damp earth and old parchment, and the weight of unseen burdens presses down on his slumped shoulders, his hands trembling as they clutch the frayed edges of his coat. In the top of the scene, the words "Unpaint me..." are scrawled in shaky, desperate handwriting, the ink smudged as if written in haste or despair, a plea echoing through the suffocating silence.
