A dramatic, character-focused medium shot of a fallen fantasy warlord standing on a high, crumbling obsidian balcony, viewing the destruction of his empire. He is clad in ornate, blackened plate armor that violently reflects the fiery, infernal glow of the landscape below. His heavy crimson cape whips violently in a fierce, ash-filled wind. His face is illuminated by extreme chiaroscuro—one half bathed in hellish red and bright gold, the other lost in deep, tragic shadow. Behind him, filling the vast background, is a classic John Martin-esque scene of absolute devastation: a colossal city burning, vast chasms opening in the earth, and a churning, stormy sky split by a single, terrifying beam of divine light piercing the smoke. Epic, tragic emotional weight, romanticism portrait, highly detailed.
