A 26-year-old woman with long wavy red hair and pale freckled skin stands in a laundromat waiting for her laundry, leaning with her back against one of the machines with arms loosely crossed, wearing a faded oversized band t-shirt tucked partially into light grey sweatpants and old flip flops, eyes half closed looking at the floor in a bored and tired expression, a phone loosely held in one hand at her side, a small pile of folded clothes sitting on the plastic bench next to her, the washing machines behind her spinning with clothes visible through the round windows, harsh white fluorescent ceiling light casting slightly unflattering shadows typical of laundromats, a handwritten price list taped to the wall in the background slightly out of focus, shot from the doorway as if someone just walked in and caught her in an unguarded moment, slight motion blur on the spinning machines, cool bluish artificial light, grainy and slightly overexposed, mundane and unglamorous everyday atmosphere
