A pencil illustration by Greg Capullo. The sketch uses outlines and hatching to indicate shadows and light source. It is a pencil on paper sketch with cel shading. A stylized sketch of a viking warrior shieldmaiden holding an axe and a shield. She has face paint and her hair is in a thick braid. She is strikingly beautiful, a mixture of youth and innocence and bravery and courage.
