A medium wide shot establishes the front porch of a rustic wooden cabin, built with rough-hewn logs and situated in a dense forest clearing under an overcast sky. A middle-aged woman with a choppy black emo haircut, dark eyeliner, and pale goth makeup sits on a worn wooden rocking chair, her hands clasped together. She is wearing a red TNG uniform. Opposite her, standing and leaning against the porch railing, is a young Latino man with a formidable, bushy handlebar mustache, dressed in a sharp charcoal grey business suit and a light blue shirt. The camera holds steady on both of them as the woman looks down at the weathered floorboards, her expression somber. She speaks softly, her voice tinged with regret, "I'm sorry I'm away so much. Space just... takes time." The man nods slowly, looking out into the trees, then turns to her with a gentle, understanding look. He replies, his voice calm and reassuring, "It's okay. I know it's important to you." The atmosphere is quiet and contemplative, with the ambient sound of wind rustling through the pine trees, the creak of the wooden rocking chair, distant bird calls, and the soft murmur of their conversation creating a sense of shared understanding in the secluded setting.
