A lone figure in a dark hooded cloak sits cross-legged on a sunlit rock in the foreground, facing away from the viewer toward a vast desert landscape under a deep blue starry sky. The composition is dominated by an enormous, skeletal, winged creature that arches over the scene like a colossal fossilized bird or dragon, its ribcage and bones rendered in dark tones with visible texture and wear. This giant structure casts a long shadow across the arid terrain, which features sparse green shrubs and distant mesas under a thin layer of atmospheric haze. The lighting creates strong contrast between the warm, sunlit foreground where the figure sits and the cool blue tones of the sky and the creature’s silhouette. A faint horizontal line streaks across the upper portion of the sky, adding to the surreal atmosphere.
